WHY WE WON’T STOP
Notice some of the things we tend to believe that keeps us captive.
> The pain and negative circumstances in my life are the results of natural consequences or fate. They are not connected to my choice.
> If God does discipline me somehow, it would probably be a one-time deal. He’s much too forgiving to impose escalating consequences.
> The enjoyment I get from my sin outweighs any spiritual benefit I’d get from stopping.
> I simply cannot help myself (product of environment).
> It’s not a sin, just a weakness, part of my personality, something I struggle with.
Repentance is the only solution to providing hope for the future.
LIVE IT OUT
> How fruitful are you? Are you ready to move from barrenness to fruitfulness?
> What sins are habitually part of your life?
> Is God disciplining you?
What are you going to do this morning?
