Terri McCuiston

Children's Director

What a privilege to share Jesus with boys and girls! When I was growing up I always loved to babysit but never dreamed I would get to minister to families and children as a lifelong project.

I married Stanley McCuiston and we farm and ranch in Indiahoma. We have 4 children Leslie who lives in Omaha Nebraska and has worked in the Agricultural industry since graduating from OSU. She travels often, and spends free time volunteering for CASA and Make A Wish Foundation. Kim, who is an RN in OKC and her husband Mike works as a paramedic. Mike and Kim have two daughters Harlie Jo and Rylie Michelle. Phil is owner/operator of McCuiston Farms and is married to Molly who is a 1st grade teacher and they have one daughter, Blakely Jane and a son, Brody Andrew. Stephen is owner/operator of McCuiston Farms in Kansas and married to Megan and they have two boys, Jax and Kye.

I grew up at Cameron Baptist Church and directed my first children’s department when I turned 18. It was then that I felt God’s call into the ministry to serve children and their families and surrendered to the ministry. I served as a volunteer children’s director and then went to a part time position and left to serve in a full time position at another church until I returned in 1997. I have seen Cameron go thru many changes but it was so exciting to see a new children’s area completed in 2003.

I enjoy watching OSU football, and of course my 6 grandchildren. I also love going to the beach and getting away for a few days just relaxing. My favorite scripture to share with you is Luke 10:19 because it shows how mighty our God is and he can conquer any obstacle and it reminds me that living in the country I have the power to overcome serpents and scorpions to which I have to conquer often.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tred on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall be any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19
