Today we continue to examine what Paul had to say about the great falling away or time of rebellion and then the revelation of the Antichrist. Eventually in the next few weeks we will answer the question, I am most frequently asked, "Will anyone be saved during the Tribulation period?"
We are now in the thick of the tribulation. We have in recent weeks become aware of the Man of Sin, the antichrist and now we are beginning to understandsome of the events that will take place during the Tribulation.
We are continuing our task of working through the 7 Seals of Tribulation which will occur during the first portion of the Tribulation. Remember, God is chastising the Jewish people of the nation of Israel because they had agreed to be a missionary nation and had yet to submit to their calling.
The mid-portion of the Tribulation will be a decisive turning point for the Tribulation time. We will see the antichrist begin to set himself up as god and stop the offering of sacrifices to God in the Temple and demand they be directed toward him as their new god. This is exactly what Jesus warned us about in Matthew 24:15-17.
This is when things really get interesting and reality begins to set in for the Jews that they have been duped and mislead. Now we will begin to entertain the most important question of the Tribulation Period. Who can and cannot be saved during the Tribulation.
In the midst of all this pain and suffering, God allows John to see a little hope; people being saved during the Tribulation Period. Last week we noted the salvation of 144,000 Jews. Let's review and see who else might be saved during the Tribulation Period and more importantly those who will not be able to be saved.
Today we will pick back up with the Seventh and final seal which in turns leads us to examine the Trumet Judements. Fasten your seatbelts and let's push on. I am asking God to use this study to draw you closer to the Lord than you have ever been before. Realizing these events are very close to becoming a reality, God desires that we will be His missionary people until the Jews are raised up during the Tribulation.
We are already aware that all this is buidling toward the climax of the mid-portion of the Tribulation when antichrist reveals himself for what he truly is. We have talked about the declaration of antichrist as god. Also we have noted the salvation of the 144,000 Jewish missionaries. Then there is the installation of the one world government and one world currency. Let's again look at the Seven Trumpets of Judgment.
To this point we have examined the Seven Seals of Judgment and are currently looking at the Seven Trumpets of Judgment. We have thus far examined four of the trumpets and now we are ready to examine the last of the trumpets beginning with the fifth which marks a dramatic increase in intensity upon mankind. Lets review the first four trumpets and then continue by looking more in-depth at the Fifth Trumpet.
This week, we will continue to look at the final three Trumpets which are alo known as the 3 Woes. Indicating an increase in the wrath that God is going to pour out on those who have failed to receive Christ as Lord and Savior up to this point. Isn't the grace of God amazing?
